Can QuietWalk Be Used With Pad Attached Flooring?
QuietWalk underlayment can be used under pad-attached. There is a known rumor that extra underlayment with pad-attached may produce a decoupling of the click-lock mechanism. QuietWalk’s compression resistance exceeds the industry requirement for pre-attached flooring that is greater than 29 psi @50% per ASTM D1667. The high compression resistance assures that the underlayment will not contribute to floor decoupling.
