QuietWalk Plus can be used over any substrate approved by your flooring manufacturer, and is suitable for use with laminate and floating hardwood flooring.
When installing SoundBuffer underneath a floating floor, please use a high quality duct tape at the seams. If you are using the double-glue or nail-down installation method, that is not required.
SoundBuffer will help reduce minor subfloor imperfections, however it is not a substitute for proper subfloor preparation. Please ensure your subfloor is within tolerances of your flooring manufacturer prior to installing SoundBuffer.
The QuietWalk Carpet Pad is excellent in a basement application! The film side would go up, touching the backing of the carpet. This allows the unique fiber construction to wick away moisture vapor emissions from the concrete, and redirect them to the perimeter of the room where it is able to evaporate.
QuietWalk Carpet Pad is CA Prop 65 compliant, meaning this product does not contain any known cancer-causing substances. We do not add any fire retardant chemicals during the manufacturing process.
QuietWalk Carpet Pad has not been tested as an area rug pad, but it is an eco-friendly low VOC product made of recycled fibers from the textile industry. It does not have any harsh or damaging chemicals added, so it shouldn’t have any affect on the hardwood floor.
One roll of QuietWalk Carpet Pad, which covers 180 square feet, weighs 55lbs.

To clean ParkPad, we recommend you wash off dirt and grime with a mild dish detergent and water. We do not recommend you attempt to wash large amounts of motor oil out of your ParkPad, as motor oil is an environmental hazard. Please replace ParkPad if it becomes saturated with any type of chemical that can contaminate the soil or ground water.
Yes, our ParkPad product is wrapped in plastic for shipping.
The ParkPad backing will not “melt” in the heat of your garage. It does not stick to surfaces, even when warm. However, please ensure your paint is fully cured prior to placing ParkPad over it.
The QuietWarmth Tile mat comes with a convenient “peel-and-stick” design; which will adhere directly to the properly prepared subfloor. Once the mat is installed over the subfloor and the lead wires properly routed, then you will install the tile flooring over the top of the mat with an appropriate thinset.
