This system is a gentle electric radiant heating product designed specifically for installation under floating floors- laminate, luxury vinyl, engineered wood, and other floating flooring at least 4mm thick. The ultra-thin film technology gives you the flexibility to heat your entire floor, or add comfort just where you want by spot-heating those higher traffic areas. QuietWarmth delivers gradual, energy-efficient warmth that operates at just 12 watts per square foot. With 99% heating efficiency and built-in temperature-limiting technology, QuietWarmth safely raises floor temperatures without compromising floor warranties. Each mat comes with 15 foot factory attached lead wires for easy connection to a thermostat control device. QuietWarmth Float is available in multiple sizes for easy planning, but all mats can be cut to length (shortened) if needed to fit all room layouts. Install directly over the subfloor or over an acoustic underlayment for added sound and thermal benefits. DIY floor heating in Canada
I just want to DIY install floor heating in the bedroom and I only need floor heating film. Does this floor heating film have CSA certification? The safety of product use must be ensuredI don’t see anything online about CSA certification

Great product and easy to install. Used for our bathroom and it was extremely easy to use and put together. The floors stay nice and warm and we would highly recommend product it’s also cost efficient.

Good for basement floor
While this product was easy to unroll and get to the right size I have to admit that it took me longer than expected to install due to the prep work and electrical side of the installation. With that being said it appears to be made of good quality materials and I chose to use it for my basement flooring project and I am definitely benefitting from the added warmth.

Easy install
I got this for our walk in closet as it is on and outside wall and seems to be the coldest spot in the house when the door is closed. It was the perfect size and we just unrolled it ran the cord through a small hole we cut to get to the nearest outlet and layer our flooring over top. It works amazing. No longer will my feet be freezing as I step in the closet. And since it’s about 2 degrees today. I may just go lay down on the floor. Haha
