Norfolk, Nebraska – August 10^th, 2026– MP Global Products, a leading manufacturer of innovative flooring underlayment today announced the sale of its Packaging Division to new ownership. The transition marks a new chapter for the Packaging Division while allowing MP Global Products to sharpen its focus on its core floor underlayment and building material business.

While the Packaging Division will continue under new ownership, MP Global Products will remain family-owned and operated by the Collison family. The company will continue to build on nearly three decades of experience in the flooring and building material industries, with a focus on innovation, quality, and customer service. 

Founded by Al Collison, MP Global Products has been innovating with recycled materials for nearly three decades, long before “going green” became a trend. Today, the  Underlayment Division and Building Materials Division continues that legacy by transforming recycled materials into high-performance flooring solutions designed for sound control, moisture management, comfort, and performance.
