QuietBoard provides superior support for multiple types of flooring. Its dense construction increases floor stability and minimizes flex between planks, making floors feel more solid and comfortable with each step. Its compression resistance provides the proper structure and support for the life of your flooring. As an added bonus, it will raise the height of your subfloor, reducing trip hazards and correcting those annoying gaps below your door casings and base trim.

Combined with our exclusive ECO-WICK System. Our fiber flooring underlayment is designed to hold up to 5 times its weight in moisture allowing the board to maintain its structural integrity, shape, and functionality. Encouraging constant airflow and breathability prevents moisture vapors from becoming blocked or trapped.

Fibers are treated with antimicrobial and integrated with a metallicized film barrier allowing the concrete to breathe, protecting the overlying flooring from harmful moisture and your family from inhibiting mold and mildew while providing thermal reflective properties for better energy efficiency.

easy to work with

QUIETBOARD – 90 sq. ft. 2 ft. x 3 ft. Premium Acoustical and Insulating Fiber Floor Underlayment with Integrated Moisture Barrier was easy to work with under my tile and laminate floors. i have noticed a difference in the temperature of my floor in the morning. i used it at the entryways, i have tile, laminate and wood in my house just for reference.

Super Easy installation

Oh, I really liked the Quietboard underlyament. It was very easy to work with and I thought the installation of it was far quicker than the last time we did it. Last time it took us maybe 6 hours and this time, not so long. Loving the quiet steps!!! It’s thicker than most of the others, and I think that’s what gives Quietboard the edge over the others.
