Insulating Value
Provides additional comfort to the entire home during seasonal temperature changes.
Made From Recycled Materials
A patented manufacturing process repurposes post-industrial and pre/post-consumer materials into high-performance underlayment.
Antimicrobial Treated Fibers
Functionally active fibers inhabit mold and mildew giving industry-leading moisture protection over concrete subfloors!
Resists Compression From Daily Traffic
Dense recycled fiber structure supports the click-together mechanism and will uphold its supportive configuration under the consistent traffic of the overlying floor.
Approved For Pad Attached Flooring
QuietWalk Versa is a recycled fiber underlayment that supports your flooring. Its dense construction makes it a universal underlayment, suitable for use under many types of floors with various installation methods. With the exclusive Dri-Wick technology, the antimicrobial treated fibers inhibit mold and mildew growth and promote moisture evaporation when installed over concrete. The attached water defensive vapor barrier protects your flooring from vapor emissions while protecting your subfloor from topical liquids. No need for extra 6mil vapor barrier under your floor, Versa is an all-in-one solution and is an underlayment and equivalent 6mil vapor barrier!
Impressive sound ratings provide exceptional through-the-floor and footfall noise protection, making this underlayment ideal for many flooring types. QuietWalk Versa will also add insulation value, increasing your home’s energy efficiency all the while adding comfort and longevity to your floors.
- Specifically designed for floating and glue down vinyl plank flooring including luxury vinyl plank, luxury vinyl tile, laminate floors, floating engineered wood, glue-down engineered wood, glue-down wood, Rigid core vinyl plank, Hybrid Resilient, wood/plastic composite and multi-layer flooring (Nail down hard woods too) Enhances pre-attached pad already on the back of planks.
- PAD ATTACHED COMPATIBLE: Provides additional benefits to pad attached flooring for full coverage moisture protection under the planks where pad attached products do not provide protection. QuietWalk VERSA maintains a high compression resistance to prevent floor decoupling and lifetime support.
- MADE FROM RECYCLED FIBERS IN USA: Support the bigger mission! Our patented manufacturing process saves our landfills from millions of tons of fiber waste each year. These fiber materials are transformed into the high-performance underlayments you see today!
- INHIBITS MOLD GROWTH: Treated with proven and safe anti-microbial to inhibit mold and mildew growth providing a safer indoor air environment in your home.
- WATER PROTECTION: Exclusive Dri-Wick Technology protects floors from beneath. Installation over concrete manages vapors from becoming bulk moisture. The attached water defensive vapor barrier protects the overlying floors from harmful water.
- ALL-IN-ONE VAPOR BARRIER: The water defensive vapor barrier is rated and tested as a Class I vapor barrier so no additional poly sheeting under vinyl plank is needed. Versa is an underlayment and 6mil vapor barrier all-in-one!
- SOUND CONTROL: Recycled fibers absorb sound and keep it from traveling to other rooms, makes floors sound solid underfoot. IIC 72 STC 64
- HIGHEST RATED DELTA IIC RATING OF 28; the higher the number, the better the sound won't transfer from another room; the Delta IIC rating is the best rating to consider when comparing the performance of different types of underlayment's
- ADDS COMFORT AND WALKING RELIEF: Proven to Increase Comfort By Reducing Force To Your Joints (2022 University Study) Minimizes Impact Energy & Sound Transmission
- WARMER FLOORS: Provides a blanket of insulation between the cold subfloors and your floor covering. Giving you additional comfort to your entire home during seasonal temperature changes
- LIFE TIME DURABILITY: Properly supports the joints of the floor and maintains its shape and lasting support for the life of the floor
- FLOOR HEATING APPROVED: Approved for all in-floor radiant heat systems allows heat to permeate evenly while helping to protect the floor covering material from thermal shock, achieve warmth with QuietWarmth radiant heat system
- LEED Compliant
- EASY INSTALLATION: Roll out and join seams with built-in lip and tape system. No additional underlayment tape required.
- LAYS FLAT DURING INSTALLATION: No annoying roll back during installation. Dense fiber pad lays out flat and stays flat unlike most foam underlayments.
- INDUSTRY STANDARD SINCE 1997: The QuietWalk brand is a reliable underlayment and has been installed in millions of homes and growing each year, making it the #1 trusted underlayment on the market.
