The MoistureBlock should be installed over the concrete, then the QuietWalk Luxury Vinyl with the film side up, and then your floor covering.

MoistureBlock can be used over concrete with an embedded heat system, provided the heating element is at least 1/2″ below the surface.

MoistureBlock has not been tested for use with adhesives. Verify with your adhesive manufacturer to see if they have a product that will bond to a polyethylene film.

MoistureBlock has not been tested for use in crawl spaces.

MoistureBlock is an effective vapor barrier approved for use under fully installed floor coverings.

MoistureBlock should be installed just prior to installing your floor covering.

The difference between QuietWalk and QuietWalk Plus is the attached film. QuietWalk Plus has a specialized film designed to accept nails and adhesives so it works with floating, nail-down, and glue-down installation methods of laminate and wood floors. QuietWalk is approved for floating wood and laminate only.

QuietWalk Versa is approved for use with luxury vinyl flooring.

QuietWalk Versa does have an attached lip and tape system for easy sealing of side seams. You may need tape when joining ends together.

Our QuietWalk Versa unrolls opposite to the way it should be installed. This helps ensure when installed with the vapor barrier facing up, the product will lay flat.

QuietWalk is not approved for use with luxury vinyl products. We recommend QuietWalk Luxury Vinyl for this application.
