The MoistureBlock should be installed over the concrete, then the QuietWalk Luxury Vinyl with the film side up, and then your floor covering.

QuietWalk LV is installed with the film side up and fiber side down.

QuietWalk LV will absolutely help to reduce noise transfer between levels.

QuietWalk LV is approved for use with luxury vinyl plank.

QuietWalk LV is not approved for use with carpet. We recommend our QuietWalk Carpet Pad.

QuietWalk LV is approved for use with QuietWarmth Float, but we recommend installing the underlayment first and then the heat mats on top.

QuietWalk Luxury Vinyl has a PERM rating of 0.06.

QuietWalk LV would be perfect for use with an 8mm thick SPC flooring. It was designed for just that use!

QuietWalk LV has an attached vapor barrier and will help protect both the subfloor and floor covering from moisture.

The difference between QuietWalk and QuietWalk Plus is the attached film. QuietWalk Plus has a specialized film designed to accept nails and adhesives so it works with floating, nail-down, and glue-down installation methods of laminate and wood floors. QuietWalk is approved for floating wood and laminate only.

QuietWalk Plus is not approved for use with rigid core vinyl flooring; we recommend QuietWalk LV for this application.
